Atulkumar Upadhye. Tejas Upadhye's musical journey has traversed continents, echoing through the heartlands of India, the enchanting landscapes of Europe, including Germany, France, and beyond. A virtuoso on the violin, Tejas has graced grand stages and shared his musical brilliance with diverse audiences. From the early age of 5, Tejas' fingers embraced the violin strings, and by 9, he had already enchanted his first audience. His talent quickly blossomed, capturing awards and certificates in various interschool, interstate, and intercollege instrumental competitions. His artistic prowess expanded to encompass not only Violin Solo performances but also music composition and innovative fusion concepts. Tejas's educational journey led him to become a distinguished Commerce graduate with distinction. However, his passion for Indian Classical Music, recognised and nurtured by his father, redirected his path towards the rich tradition of Upadhye's Violin Vadan Parampara that spans over 60 years. Collaborations have been an essential part of Tejas' musical voyage. His duet with Sitar Maestro Shakir Khan, a unique fusion of Sitar and Violin, has gained remarkable popularity, especially among the youth. The harmony shared with his brother, Rajas Upadhye, exemplifies exceptional mutual coordination and musical brilliance. Tejas' performances have enthralled audiences across Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Nashik, Baramati, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Bangalore, and even extended to England, Germany, and Switzerland during a remarkable European tour at the tender age of 16. Currently, Tejas is pursuing his M.A. in Music at the esteemed School of Performing Arts, Bharti Vidyapeeth University in Pune, further honing his musical expertise.
